GMCHS students may NOT participate in intercollegiate athletics although several have made important connections that have been useful to them after graduation. However, students may choose, with the approval of the administration and coaching staffs of their home-site schools, to participate in high school athletics.

GMCHS students are welcome to participate in the many clubs and activities on the college campus. Information is available through the Associated Students office or online.

Two Middle College students have served on the ASGC board and one was secretary and later president of the Environmental Club. Several students have contributed to the college newspaper, The Summit, and the literary magazine, The Acorn.
