Courses

GMCHS students take a core of courses which satisfy high school graduation requirements. GMCHS Literature and Composition courses give a wide overview of literary threads and genres, while Study Skills courses help prepare students for success.

Courses - Juniors
Courses - Seniors
American Literature and Composition, American History, Study Skills and Service Learning/Career Pathways. British Literature and Composition, a semester each of Economics and Government, Study Skills and Internship/Career Pathways.

In addition, students are required to take a minimum of six (but typically no more than 10) college credits each semester, either to fulfill high school graduation requirements in subjects such as math, science, languages, the arts, or technology or to complete college general education (with courses from the UC "A-G" list) and preparation for major coursework, or to pursue interests not available at traditional high school sites.

Students are required to maintain a high school GPA of 2.75 and a college GPA of 2.0 in order to remain in good standing.
